Had absolutely incredible week with our "Wounded Warriors". Those guys all served our country and have been injured in combat, it was our pleasure to take them out on the river for a week of fishing. Rain or shine those guys were an joy to have in the boat and at the lodge. They might of learned how to fly-fish for the first time, but they weren't the only ones that learned something last week. They all taught us at Unalakleet River Lodge to be grateful for our health and freedom. It was an incredible week. Here are just a few photos from the week.

First Few Weeks at Unalakleet River Lodge

Here are a few photos from the first two weeks of the season. The King Salmon season closed for the season today (sunday july 10th) but the Chum Salmon run has been outstanding. A few pink salmon have been spotted in the river, and the Silver Salmon should be showing up any day now. Should be a great week with Wounded Warriors paying a visit to us!  The last picture is of a lynx we saw crossing the river, pretty cool! Stay Tuned
